OFTEN COMMON TIRE SIZES 245/45/18 ON 18X8 AND WHEN GO OUT TO 18X9.5 THEN A 275/40/18 IS THE COMMON FOR THE REAR, THE SIDEWALL IS THE EXACT SAME,


SAME THOUGHTS ON 20X8.5 IS 245/45/20 AND ON 20X10 IS A 275/40/20 THAT SIDE WALL IS 4.3" SO BASICALLY A 28.6" TALL TIRE, SOME THAT LIKE A SLIGHTLY TALLER SIDE WALL ON REAR GO 275/45/20 AT ABOUT 29.1" AND THOSE THAT CAN CLEAR EVEN WIDER ON THE REAR, UPTO TO A 295/40/20 HAS BEEN USED


WE DID A SET OF 18X8 WITH 235/45/18 & 20X8.5 WITH A 275/40/20 WHICH THIS TIRE IS WHAT WE NORMALLY USE ON A 20X10 BUT IT LOOKED REALLY GOOD ON THE 8.5.   THESE TIRES WORKED WELL THE FRONT IS ABOUT A 4" SIDEWALL SO A 26" TALL THEN THE REAR TURNS OUT TO BE A 4.3" SIDEWALL AND RUNS ABOUT 28.6" TALL.


ON THE REAR OF MY 52, I WANTED THE WIDEST THAT I COULD GO BUT NEEDED A SHORTER SIDEWALL SO WE USED A 285/35/20


THE FIRST NUMBER 285 IS THE SECTION WIDTH, 285MM OR APPROX. 11.2" WIDE THE 2ND NUMBER IS THE ASPECT RATIO OF THE WIDTH SO A 40 SERIES TIRE THAT IS 10" SECTION WIDTH, WOULD BE A 4" SIDEWALL ON EACH SIDE


WHEEL SPACERS ARE AVAILABLE, IT'S A GENERAL RULE TO NEVER USE A WHEEL SPACE WITH LESS THAN 8 FULL TURNS ON THE LUG STUDS AND PREFERRABLY 10 TURNS


WE USE CHROME ET (EXTENDED TIP) LUGS AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE


WE CAN HELP WITH 5TH WHEELS FOR SPARES ON JEEPS AS THE MATCHING SPARE IS VERY COOL,
