LOOKING FOR WHEELS - CALL or TEXT STEPHEN
When we give these old rides a new motor and a fresh start, that's like what Christ does for us....He changes our HEART. The Truth is Acts 3:19 tells us we must repent and turn away from our sins. It's not easy to admit we can't do it on our own but that's what surrender our lives means. We admit we are fallen and we ask Jesus into our heart to clean up our sin. By HIS Grace, Mercy and Love we are changed through FAITH in Him Eph 2:8-9e your paragraph here.
I love old cars but I LOVE sharing what Jesus has done for me even more. We are thankful for the opportunities God has blessed us with through these old Junky, cars and trucks....Hope that these thoughts can help you, also. For He is the Good Shepard John 10:11-15, May God Bless You
THE TRUTH: I have realized through re-building old cars that we can share a special message. See this '52 GMC long wheel base that we found broken down and just left out behind a local barn. The truck should have went to the scrap yard as it was really too far gone, BUT it was special. I have been going to car shows almost 40 years and I recall only a very select few GMC AD Trucks, many of the Chevrolet version are around but even though this truck was JUNK to most, it was special to us! The truth is that we are kind of like this old truck so many times, broken down and feeling useless and left to rot away. The truth is we are special just like this rare GMC. Just like rust on metal, sin in our lives eats away at us. The truth is we are still special in the eyes of Jesus. Every one has sinned and just like even the best show cars, none are perfect for the Bible clarifies that in Romans 3:23, For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. We can clean the rust away from these old trucks, but nothing but the Savior can cure us of sin. The Truth is Christ has already paid the price for our sins. Romans 4:25 says He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
No matter what we look like on the outside, when we accept Jesus as Lord & Savior, it's what's on the inside that counts. here.
